My children have been after me to create a blog about marriage and relationships. I haven't figured out Facebook yet! But here we go. More will follow.

This is about - Change. First order change is a change in behavior that is superficial (and perhaps not really even change), and second order change occurs in structure and function. For example, in a marriage, first order change is seen when a spouse resentfully stops an annoying behavior (and will probably do it behind the other's back), whereas second order change is not only stopping the behavior, but replacing it with a totally new behavior.
Yes! This is going to be great.
